Paris, je t’aime

Paris, thank you for living up to the hype. After visiting many European cities this year, admittedly, things were getting repetitive. I was skeptical about whether Paris indeed had anything different to offer and thus, long contemplated whether to make this trip or not. But an expiring travel visa and proximity to London helped tilt the decision in favour of Paris. An unplanned trip comes at its own price. Booking tickets 4 days before the trip was expensive but it was definitely worth it.

Paris greeted us with near freezing temperature but it never snowed, something that I silently wished for. Thanks to London I am well adapted to cold weather now. Interestingly, fog and low-lying cloudy covered Paris and gave this romantic city a dreamy makeover. Light showers, walk in quaint lanes, beautiful parisian buildings and charming cafes added to the winter charm of the city.

One flip side to travelling in winter is late sunrise. By 8:30 the whole world is awake and by then you are left with no choice but to click with the crowd. Nonetheless, I clicked and shared a lot of pictures on snapchat-ilaismail .Make sure you follow me there for videos and pictures.Outfit details are given below.

  1. You look so put together! Love that outfit combo😍 I have always wanted to pair a mini with leggings but usually shy away read tree trunk legs 🌲. Will try and put together a similar look thanks for the inspiration!

  2. We couldn’t agree more. Paris is an amazing city with a lot of culture and class. It is not perfect but the people are sincere albeit in a slightly arrogant way 🙂
